Our disability support operates Monday to Sunday offering flexible times and adapted to the individual. These can be tailored to meet the NDIS goals of our participants.
We offer weekend social groups and activities, 1:1 outings.

Getting involved in our social activities is a great way to meet new people and develop friendships as part of your journey.
Register your interest under the community tab and fill in the contact form at the bottom of the page. Alternatively please feel free to call or email, You will be contacted to discuss activities and how to start the process
Social outings include a variety of different activities, including sports, musicals, ladies’ groups, men’s groups, combined groups, day trips etc.
How does the Independent Living Program help individuals?
The Independent living program helps the participant grow and develop skills in order for them to be confident in eventually living on their own with support if this is in accordance to their NDIS goals set out in the plan.
This program also develops household skills that can be practiced at home to give families relief. Building these skills enables self confidence and individual growth.
Skills can include the following:
- Cooking and baking program
- Personal Hygiene
- Washing and daily activities like changing bedding etc
These tasks help the individual grow and develop new skills and keep the mind stimulated, while fostering continuing learning as an adult.
Are the Skills Building Programs available for all ages? Is there a cost involved?
Our skills program are most certainly available for all ages and any capabilities. Our programs run from the age of 7 right up until 67 years of age. We tailor the program to the wants/needs of the participant.
These programs also can be done either 1:1 or in a group setting. The ideas and the objectives of the program are based around growth and building relationships within Connected Choice and Ability and the wider community.
This does include Travel Training.
Yes, there is a cost. The NDIS does not cover any entry fees, tickets or any other ancillary costs. These costs will need to be covered by the participants.
